Something I like to remind people of is that Confederate soldiers were &lt;i&gt;&lt;strong&gt;American soldiers&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;, they are part of our martial heritage. We can be proud of Lee, Longstreet, Jackson and their soldiers. 

Agree that declaring a "Civil War History" month would have been the way to go.</description>
