I thought about making this entry another lesson in my “Why We Home-School” series, but I’m not quite cynical enough to believe that lesbian encounters between teachers, with students just down the hall, are a serious problem in schools — at least not yet. Even so, now we know it’s a possibility:
More revealing to me (pun intended) is the newsflash that teachers these days are allowed to dress and behave like tramps. “She dressed like a teenage girl,” one student said about one of the teachers involved in the incident. “She’d wear low-cut tops, shorts, three-quarter length jeans. She was kinda sexy. You could see that she was the kind of person who would flirt.” Apparently it’s something in the water at James Madison High School. (Boy, I’ll bet the “father of the Constitution” is proud to have that school named after him!) Now a third teacher is under investigation for allegedly having sex with a student. A few more stories like that and I’ll definitely be cynical enough to write a “Why We Home-School” entry about sex in public schools. Filed under: Culture and News & Politics and People Comments:
