When I was a reporter, I wore jeans to work on Fridays until I absolutely couldn't get away with it anymore. Jeans are comfortable, come in all shades and sizes, and go with absolutely everything. And while I have to agree, sometimes, with the level of class and style there may have been in Astaire and Kelly's day, you can't go back without going back all the way, and I'll take my position as a woman in this day over that day any day. And I'll do it wearing my jeans. I have eight pairs of jeans and just bought a jean jacket.
