Barack Obama has been all over the map on the issue of pork-barrel spending in the stimulus bill he is trying to push through Congress. First he vowed to keep all pork out of the legislation; then he scoffed at the notion that it’s possible to ban earmarks for pet projects in such a monster package; and then he insisted, in the face of mountains of evidence to the contrary, that there isn’t any pork in the bill (hat tip to Instapundit). Now we have this blatant contradiction:
