That’s the logic behind Barack Obama’s plan to stimulate the economy by “creating jobs.” And as Jacob Sullum so eloquently states in Reason magazine, it’s bad logic:

He is not interested in creating “jobs”, but using “jobs” to create “Subjects”.
If you want a pattern look at Zimabawe. If you do not support Mugabe, you do not eat. He does not even allow foreign food assistance to be distributed to his opposition.
