If interfering humans would just let the forests take care of themselves in the natural cycle of fires, regrowth, etc., and the animals live in their natural cycle of the food chain (prey, raptors, larger preyer), you wouldn't have Palin interfering with the natural cycle of wolves vs. caribou. And yeah, wolves will start dining on their prey alive if the wolves are starving because humans are invading their territory to make profit digging for oil/gas, and upsetting the natural ecology.
