It’s hard to believe when you consider how he and his allies went out of their way to offend the common folk, but Barack Obama won enough of the “cracker vote” to prevail in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and more states. Obama also won the vote in Virginia. The good news is that a majority of the enlightened rednecks in my home state of West Virginia saw through Obama’s hope-and-change shtick — proving yet again that West Virginia is the better Virginia. On the other hand, if you voted against Obama, you are by definition a racist. Or so saith elitist, Obama-loving bloggers like Matthew Yglesias and Andrew Sullivan.
